Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your booking and stay at Jarama Suites. By making a reservation, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Booking Terms

1.1 Reservation Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after successful payment and receipt of a confirmation email. The confirmation email will contain your booking reference number, check-in/check-out dates, room type, and total amount paid.

1.2 Minimum Age

Guests must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. The person making the reservation must be staying at the hotel and will be responsible for the booking.

1.3 Maximum Stay Duration

Online bookings are limited to a maximum of 21 nights. For longer stays, please contact us directly at stay@jaramasuites.com.

1.4 Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the booking process. Please ensure guest names, contact details, and special requests are correct.

2. Pricing & Payment

2.1 Room Rates

Room rates displayed on our website are per room per night and include:

  • Base room rate
  • Seasonal surcharges (if applicable)
  • Weekend surcharges (if applicable)
  • Long-stay discounts (5+ nights: 10% off room rate)
  • 11% local taxes

2.2 Additional Charges

Additional services are optional and charged separately:

  • Extra Guests: $20 per person per night (above base occupancy)
  • Breakfast: $14 per person per night
  • Airport Transfer: $35 flat fee (one-way)

2.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other major credit cards. Full payment is required at the time of booking.

2.4 Currency

All prices are quoted in USD (United States Dollars). Your credit card may convert the charge to your local currency using their exchange rate.

2.5 Price Changes

Once a booking is confirmed and paid, the price will not change. However, prices for future bookings may be adjusted without prior notice.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellation Terms

Cancellation policies vary by booking:

  • Free Cancellation: Cancel up to 48 hours before check-in for a full refund minus processing fees
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations within 48 hours of check-in are non-refundable
  • No-Show: Failure to check in without prior cancellation results in full charge with no refund

3.2 How to Cancel

To cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible at: stay@jaramasuites.com or +963 (11) 000 0000. Include your booking reference number.

3.3 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method. A 3% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount to cover Stripe transaction costs.

3.4 Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), we will work with you to reschedule your booking or provide a refund at our discretion.

4. Check-In & Check-Out

4.1 Check-In Time

Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM. Early check-in may be available upon request and subject to availability. Please contact us in advance if you expect to arrive before 2:00 PM.

4.2 Check-Out Time

Check-out time is 12:00 PM (noon). Late check-out may be available upon request and may incur an additional charge depending on availability.

4.3 Late Arrival

If you expect to arrive after 6:00 PM, please inform us in advance. Failure to notify us may result in cancellation of your reservation.

4.4 Identification

A valid government-issued photo ID and the credit card used for booking must be presented at check-in. This is required for all guests.

5. Hotel Policies

5.1 Smoking Policy

All rooms and indoor areas are non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. A cleaning fee of $200 will be charged for smoking violations.

5.2 Pets

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at this time, with the exception of certified service animals.

5.3 Guests

Only registered guests are allowed to occupy rooms. Visitors may be permitted in public areas during reasonable hours but must not stay overnight without prior arrangement.

5.4 Noise & Disturbances

We ask all guests to respect quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Excessive noise or disruptive behavior may result in eviction without refund.

5.5 Damage & Loss

Guests are responsible for any damage to the room, furniture, or hotel property caused during their stay. Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the credit card on file.

6. Liability & Disclaimers

6.1 Personal Belongings

Jarama Suites is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to guests' personal belongings. We recommend using the in-room safe for valuables.

6.2 Personal Injury

The hotel is not liable for personal injury or accidents that occur on the premises unless caused by proven negligence on our part.

6.3 Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, or public health emergencies.

6.4 Third-Party Services

Any third-party services arranged through the hotel (tours, transportation, etc.) are provided by independent contractors. We are not responsible for their actions or services.

7. Website Use

7.1 Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Jarama Suitesor its licensors and is protected by copyright laws.

7.2 Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without permission
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the website
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Upload malicious code or viruses

7.3 Availability

We strive to maintain website availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The website may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or technical issues.

8. Privacy

Your use of our website and booking services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Syrian Arab Republic. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your stay will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Damascus, Syria.
